Dyngus Day Parade 4/21/14

What is Dyngus Day? Good question. It's a fairly well known Polish Festival. But what's it for? It's held to celebrate the end of Lent. But in Buffalo it's also a special event to celebrate Polish Heritage.

The 8th annual Dyngus Day Parade will be starting at 5pm on April 21st, 2014. The route is a decent length, so make sure you check out the map that shows where it's being held. Not only that it shows you where a number of other events will be happening on this day.

There's a special website for this event www.dyngusday.com/. You should check it out if you're interested in attending. It gives a very thorough explanation about the event and what you can expect. Besides that I would recommend staying tuned into the weather so that you know whether to bundle up or not. The weather has really been rather unpredictable lately.
